Happy birthday, long live. Our Hatz Parts Store turns 1 today. To celebrate our birthday, we look back on the development phase, the "birth" and give an outlook on what we are planning for you in the coming year.

Starting an online shop is a rather conventional idea at first. However, we at Hatz wanted to go one step further. That's why we designed the Hatz Parts Store as an open store right from the start. This means that anyone can order from the Parts Store. No company account or registration is necessary. We want to make life easier for our customers, also when it comes to purchasing original parts for maintenance and repair.

But a lot of preparatory work was necessary before the "go-live" really got underway on 12 October 2021. In order to incorporate state-of-the-art ideas into the structure of our Parts Store, we involved marketing students from Munich University of Applied Sciences in a study project during the conception phase. Since July last year, we have been using our photo system to visualise all products for the online shop. Currently, more than 1000 product photos are stored in our store system.On the one hand, this is more up-to-date than searching in pure spare parts lists, but it also makes online shopping more convenient, as the original part to be replaced can be compared directly with the one photographed in the Parts Store.

On the aforementioned date in October, we then went into operation - after many more organisational and IT-related optimisations. Initially, the online shop was limited to the German and Austrian markets. Since the end of May, we have greatly expanded the eligible regions: since then, you can order from almost all European countries in the Hatz Parts Store. Since September, this has also been possible by overnight express. This way, machine downtimes can be greatly reduced.

To keep you up to date, we have also been active on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook since the middle of the year under the name Hatz Lifetime. Follow us on these channels and don't miss any more news about the Parts Store, maintenance tips, expert knowledge and our spectacular applications.

And that brings us to the here and now. What can you expect in the coming weeks and months? On the one hand, you can experience the Parts Store live. We will be present with our service topics at the Hatz stand at bauma in Munich. From 24 to 30 October, you can find out more about the Parts Store and many other Hatz services at Stand 440 in Hall A4. We look forward to seeing you there.

In the coming months we will be working on connecting our European branches to the Parts Store. This will speed up the international purchase and dispatch of original Hatz parts even more.
